Group Cooking Lessons to Inspire!

Cooking together brings people together – it strengthens our existing relationships and often enables us to make new ones, whether we’re at work, in the community or with our loved ones.

“Me and my partner had a really good time learning new skills, a new recipe and “meeting” new people.”

What type of group cooking lessons are available?

Group lessons and workshops are arranged at Anne Marie’s house, on Zoom or in community venues and listed in the following link:

What’s on the menu?

Get Cooking! Group Lessons offer a wide range of options, from cooking the basics, making pasta, sushi or curry to basic baking, breadmaking and freezer-friendly batch cooking.

How much will a group cookery lesson cost?

Face to face group cooking lessons in community halls cost from £10 per person and include ingredients (for up to date information please join newsletter or contact me directly to be placed on waiting list). Generally focus on the basics of cooking with easy recipes – quick, easy and health in mind.

Online cooking lessons start from £10 per household – a really convenient way to learn to cook.

Small group cooking workshops at Get Cooking! in Warwick Gates and local community venues range from  £15 – £60 per attendee depending on menu, number of attendees, and time.

Adult and children group lessons

Workshops for families are added on an ad hock basis in community venues and privately in my home. Several spaces are generally reserved for those who are unable to afford lessons. Free workshops are also provided when funding allows through local charities and businesses.

For more information on all up and coming courses please subscribe to regular newsletter.

Social cooking events

Whether it’s a themed Indian, Thai or Japanese feast, a full Vegan afternoon tea with chocolate cake, scones, sandwiches and bakes, Sunday lunch with the trimmings or Christmas dinner, get in touch to discuss what you’d like to cook together.

Fancy trying your hand at Sushi? Or pasta and ravioli? We can tailor every menu to you and your group and create allergen free dishes if you need them.

Cooking parties are great ways to connect with friends or celebrate a special event. It’s a really social way to practise cooking something new, get some great tips on cooking skills  and enjoy sharing delicious food afterwards. Group parties can be a great way to fundraise for charities too.

How does a virtual group cookery class work?

A virtual cooking class is a live cook along, so you cook the whole meal or menu from scratch, live. Online lessons take place in your own kitchen via Zoom and Anne Marie sends the recipe and ingredients list in advance.

Virtual cookery lessons mean that you can cook at your convenience, in your own kitchen, with familiar equipment. A fun way to learn and make new connections.
