From cooking basic dishes,  knife skills, efficient batch cooking or if you want to expand your culinary expertise to more exotic dishes this is the class for you.

Baked goods, cakes  and pastry lessons are very popular choice too so if you want to improve your baking skills or create your own afternoon tea this can be accommodated too.

These lessons are great fun when shared with a friend or partner for a birthday or anniversary.

I try to make the recipes as simple as I can to ensure you can recreate them at home.

I try to make the recipes as simple as I can to ensure you can recreate them at home.

  • Work at your own pace and level.
  • Demonstration time kept to a minimum so you spend most of the time preparing food.
  • Food can be cooked after the lesson if you wish, useful if you want to show off your cooking  skills to friends and family later on.
  • Receive tips and techniques used are relevant to you. The lesson is bespoke to your needs.
  • Convenient – no travel costs to yourself in the local area (mileage may be incurred beyond 12 mile radius).
  • Lessons can be arranged at my home in Warwick Gates 
  • Lessons can be arranged via Zoom so you can cook in the comfort of your own home in a cook along style.  Ingredients list and instructions will be provided before the lesson.
  • Lessons can be extended by several hours if you wish to make more complex dishes or when making bread for an extra cost.
  • A range of healthy, vegan, high protein  or low sugar lesson plans available as well as more traditional recipes.

Typical recipes for themed sessions (number of dishes will depend on what you fancy making)

Indian: Chicken Tandoori, vegan vegetable pancakes, chapatis, chickpea rice one pot (other interchangeable options – samosas, onion bhajis, lentil pakoras, dhaal, chicken/veg korma, butternut squash and chickpea curry, bombay potatoes, naan breads, jeera rice, raita).

Thai: Veg summer rolls, dumplings from scratch, Mango salad, fishcakes, Thai green curry from scratch, jasmine rice.

Chinese: Spring rolls, vegetable noodle soup, chicken/veg sweet and sour, teriyaki drumsticks.

Italian: home made pasta from scratch, tagliatelle puttanesca, butternut squash, sage and walnut ravioli, pizza from scratch. Tiramasu cheesecake.

Greek: pitta breads, rainbow hummus, meatballs/koftas or falafels, tzatziki, spinach and feta parcels, Greek salad.

Japanese: Katsu curry, perfect jasmine rice, karaage, dorayaki, okonomiyaki

Sushi:  A range of vegetable, salmon and prawn maki, Futomaki, Iso rolls and sweet coconut fruit rolls

Mexican: Vegetable/meat chilli, corn bread, tortillas, chicken/vegetable fajitas, side dishes

Afternoon tea:   Choose several from brownies, cupcakes, flapjack, choux buns, shortbread, scones, Viennese whirls, Victoria sponge.
